Tuesday October 7

Today, we did an activity with mirrors. Using a note card and a mirror we had to recreate the five steps by tracing the shapes and then free handing them by using the mirror image. I found it difficult to do this activity but after a little practice I was starting to catch on and had a strategy to being able to draw.

Thursday October 2

Today we got some black boxes and we were supposed to guess what was in the boxes. It was called the mystery box activity. The only problem I was having is I thought the marble or what was moving inside is what we are to guess not the space that the cardboard or other object was taking up.

Tuesday September 30

The online assignment was actually very interesting and I can see it being fun for younger children and Ill admit it was a little fun for me too. The Amazing Food Detective is a great way for students to learn healthy choices for their lifestyle. I think healthy eating habits should be focused on a little better in the school systems.

Tuesday September 23

I liked the activity in class today. We got right on the activity, the teacher had the material ready for us when class started which is good. We were doing acid tests for the activity. We put vinegar on baking soda and saw the reaction fizz and bubble with the most reaction and gas Water and baking soda had no gas or reaction. when we put half water half vinegar it kinda did an inbetween with a little fizz and half the gas of the vinegar. The lime fizzed the most-a lot. the grapefruit and orange fizzed a little and the pink grapefruit had no reaction. This class time seemed short and was very hands on.

Sept. 16

In class we started out with notes. The lab or project for class was focused on safety in science. We made game boards to play on and to learn safe science.
